I just volunteered with WLS- Nepal in 2012. It was the first time I had traveled in South Asia and I was really nervous. but i found Wls specially the local partner in Nepal are very professional, supportive and helpful throughout the whole process. I appreciated their transparency and felt that my money was being distributed fairly. The coordinator and placement I worked with were amazing, with extra bonus, attended many festivals, everything is great, from airport pick up till the end of my volunteer placement. I end up crying when i left the country as I’m touch by hospitality of the local people, the staff in Nepal and my host family. I'd definitely recommend any of their programs!

I had a wonderful experience with WLS International volunteering in India at the orphanage in Delhi. Joining the volunteer program at the orphanage in Delhi with WLS International in India has definitely been a very rewarding experience in my life and I hope to be able to repeat this experience again in the near future in the other parts of Asia. I was not sure what to expect but it turned out to be a very good opportunity to understand first-hand the lives of less privileged children and to be able to contribute my time and effort to make them happy. The support from my coordinator was great, he tried to assist in all aspects during my volunteer period. WLS International organized my program without any problems and was there to assist me whenever I needed help. This helped so much in enabling me to get such a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend WLS International as they have great programs at reasonable prices and their support and organization is excellent.

I have been in touch with a Matt from WLS about a volunteer program in Vietnam and communication was good for a while. However, when I started asking about more details about accomodation, run-down of the volunteer program, as well as the contact for the local Ho Chi Minh coordinator, everything stopped. Since then, they have not replied to me despite my repeated email attempts, the UK phone number listed always go to voicemail. It really does not give me much confidence to put up so much money to an organisation located halfway around the world in the UK whilst the program is in Vietnam. I think WLS is a shoddy organisation, probably a scam and I will not recommend it at all. I am glad I did not pay for anything yet. I wonder why did get such good ratings on Abroad Reviews?

Volunteering with in Beijing with WLS International has given me the opportunity to see life in China from a completely different perspective, which would not be otherwise revealed to as a tourist on holiday. The support from the WLS International staff and local coordinator has been excellent from start to finish. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in combining both a passion to work with others less fortunate and a strong interest to explore a different culture.

The way the WLS International program in Thailand is structured is very good. I found the orphanage itself to be excellent. The coordinator was very attentive and always eager to lend her time or give advice. She is an excellent coordinator. The support from WLS was excellent from start to finish. The program is very good and I am happy I did it and happy I came to Thailand.
