I , Rukhsana Jeewa from South Africa, completed 1 week Street Kids Project in Jaipur India. It was an experience that I was always searching for . Purposeful ..........
It was my first travel out of my country on my own...... very nervous of what I would experience.
But to my surprise it was very safe and easy .
All transit to Jaipur was well arranged , from arrival to departure. Travel to and from school was on time . Tours as well in Jaipur and Agra .
My lodge was also comfortable and all meals well prepared, very tasty.
1 week is very short , every day at the school was a new day for me , enjoyable and purposeful . Kids are adorable , well mannered and respectful.
Punnima , very supportive at home and always seeing to my needs. Pranay and Amita irrespective of their lovely new baby at home, they stayed in closed contact during my stay, maintaining that there is no shortfall .
Enviroment , Lodge and school very safe .
I would definitely return for a longer visit , Keep up the excellent and noble work done to outreach for development .

After this visit a relationship has been formed especially with the kids at school.

Again Frustrated with Member of Pranay and Amita... Really they provide very poor poor facility. They Just start this Business to earn money in Dollar. Really then don't NGO. Real NGO person do help to the Poor Child on their health, education.

But they, only store money and make BIG MONEY AND PROPERTY. Most difficulties that Pranay don't know proper english and don't know what the guys want. Amita, everytime say that... "we don't waste money on poor child, if we waste this then we can't got profit"" I suggest everyone... DON'T JOIN THIS. This is the first NGO who store Black Money only.

Really its not the NGO... its shop start to earn the money in Dollar and Convert in to Indian Rupees. Really very very frustrated with Pranay and Amita... they don't care to the Poor Child... DON'T JOIN THIS....IF anyone got enquiry about this... then found that... they make lots of property and black money....DON' JOIN THIS...indirectly Pranay say that we start this business to earn the money....Real NGO help to the Poor Child, their Health, Education and Future Development...they focus on BIG MONEY....

The overall layout and design of the Gap Year Expedition program is good to be a responsible tourist in India, I had a great time. I joined their 6 week Gap Year India Expedition and get opportunity to work with street kids for 4 weeks. This experience definantly ranks as one of my all time greatest. The kids have touched my heart in such an incredible way.
Pranay & Amita (Organizers) are compassionate, caring people who have inspired me to live my life in a way completely dedicated to the kids. I am so impressed by this project. I have learned so much that I know I will never forget. It was an honor to be a Sankalp Volunteer !!
The two weeks of travel has been one of the best ever as this has been an experience of a lifetime.
Thanks to Sankalp team, for all that you do for the kids here and for us !
