i was volunteering 3 months in Rampur chitwan on a farm.
I digged and mulched the fields. Seeded plants and saw them growing. the work was sometimes hard but I enjoyed very much and I'm really glad that i could live with a host family togerher. it was nice to see how is the actually life in nepal. We shard food, experiences and celebrated many festivals together also one marriage. i will really miss them and the wonderful peaceful time on the farm.

I can only recommend it!

It was an amazing experience working with the staff and children at the Nepal Mary Center. I was made to feel at home the very first day. All were grateful for everything. Together we rebuilt the wall broken from the 2015 earthquake. Hopefully it will give the center a better feeling of security.
After a week I was off trekking to Everest Base Camp.
I completed the trek!!!!!!!!! What a journey of spectacular views and personal preservation. Due to weather I had to helicopter back to Kathmandu for my International flight home. Before I left Kopila ( director of Center) came to visit me. She wanted to ensure that I was okay and to let me know the children had said a prayer for my safe return.
Made new friends at the RCDP Hostel and Nepal Mary Center that will forever hold a place in my heart.
Until we meet again

My experience with RCDP was very good. Hom answered all the questions I had beforehand by email and when there was a problem with the payment he quickly offered a solution. The organization is also very flexible. I could easily cancel my airport pick-up. The school was an interesting place to work in and the principal, the teachers and the students made my feel very welcome. I could to work that was meaningful and which I felt comfortable with (not to demanding). The hostfamily treated me as one of their familymembers and the were nicer than I could have imagined.

I really enjoyed Ghana. People are really nice and welcoming, sometimes a bit too much. I genuinely really enjoyed the people and the country. My host Franklin was extremely welcoming. I felt at home from the moment i arrived. the whole family was very nice. the room in which i slept was perfect, it was spacious, the bed was comfortable and i wasn't hot. The house was very convenient too. the food was good but a little bit repetitive and we had too much food to eat for breakfast sometimes. We taught kids in Countryside orphanage. We gave them French, Maths, Science, English and Art lessons We also taught songs to the children in Kindergarten. Outside of school hours we played with the kids and they followed us everywhere. The weekends we went on excursions to canopy walk and slave castle in Cape Coast, went to the beach and also rested at home. We were constantly supported at home. We were never left on our own and the same thing in the orphanage. However if we wanted to go somewhere on our own during the day we were free to do so. I would recommend this experience a million times. It was such a wonderful out of the ordinary and enriching experience. it also gives the opportunity to discover a whole different culture and country in a total immersion due to staying with local people
