Amistad Institute

I went directly with Amistad, even when some people were complaining, it was clear to me that they were not trying to volunteer (help), most of them were traying to get training.
I am a teacher, so I helped in that area and it was amazing, other volunteers did not have any idea about what to do or how. You are supossed to know how to do things if you want to volunteer (help).

Global Crossroad

Hi guys,
I have joined Global Crossroad program in Kenya this month. I have found some of participants have provided very false information in about Global Crossroad especially about the arrangement of Safari and Project arrangement.
It is absolutely true that you can find cheaper safari company here in Nairobi but be carefuly, if they are legetimate and has license to run the safari the safari company that global crossroad work with is the most legetimate and has the best reputation here in Kenya.
the best part of Global Crossroad I experinced is the secure environment and best food and accomodation and provide real experience of Kenay. After looking so many comments in the interenet, I didn't expect that their arrangements are so organized and well maintained. Now I am with 6 other volunteers and we all enjoyed the program.
You may not believe I have talked to some volunteers from other organization, they dumped volunteers and never care about them and volunteer never got any assistance from the ground coordinator.
Other part of Global Crossroad is the routine check of their ground coordinator and provide training.
Overall, my experience with Global Crossroad is the best and I never forget it.

University of Dreams

I obtained my internship in San Francisco in summer 2007 using University of Dreams and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to intern abroad. I was very impressed by the staff all the way through, from obtaining my internship to looking after me for 8 weeks over summer. The weekend activities they organise are awesome, such as white water rafting, city tours and overnight trips (mine was to Lake Tahoe and was great fun!). You meet loads of incredible people and the entire programme is amazingly organised (they think of absolutely everything!) - a definite 10 out o 10, I cannot recommend it enough!

Volunteering In India

I have found several US based companies offering program in the same rate as this company. I really could not trust any company based in India. If something goes wrong you can not do any thing for india based companies. so, careful guys to joined these kind of mushrooming and internet based companies. This is all about making money

International Volunteer HQ (IVHQ)

Excellent and prompt support system in place. Both before and during volunteer stint. Queries usually answered within a day (even Sundays). Hosts were very friendly and flexible with programme. Takes care to attend to the wellbeing of volunteers e.g. offering extra blankets, helping arrange R&R activities.
