Global Learning Semesters

GLS knows the places they operate very well which translates to a great study abroad experience. Staff is extremely helpful in preparing for the trip and are available through cell phones (which they provide) 24 hours while you are with them. I took International Marketing and Early Christian Thought which were complemented well by my surroundings. My roommates and the other students were probably the best in the world. Totally recommend GLS.

Global Learning Semesters

Amazing program with a company that cares! If you want to explore new places and experience unique things you've chosen the right group. I was able to step outside of my own comfort zone and world and experience the world in a whole new light. I would highly recommend the Semester in Europe program to anyone! Definately worth the money and time! I still keep in contact with quite a few of the people that were in my semester and many of the people I met in Cyprus.

GLS is the way to go. I loved the fact that they offer apartments as primary housing ( at least in Paris) as opposed to other companies that only offer dorms or homestays. I felt independent the entire time and enjoyed all group excursions. I would do another study abroad with GLS all over again. They know what they're doing. Things that sometimes may not work, or get complicated, arise because of the fact that you're in an entirely different country that is simply not the U.S.

Can you tell me where your apartment was located, and can you request a particular apt. or area?

It seemed that GLS students paid a lot more for the same services that other travel abroad students got for a cheaper price. Also, the trip was generally unorganized--no one knew where we needed to be, or at what time.
We got to see a lot of historical Mexican sites, but overall I wouldn't recommend this trip to anyone who isn't already familiar with the Guadalajara area, or who doesn't have money to burn.
